I took my car to Budget Transmission Center, and they said I needed a brand new transmission, which was $3,000. They put the new transmission in, and three days later, the car was still doing the same thing. So, I brought it back, and they told me it was the air flow system. Once they did the air flow system, which was $150, the car was running fine. I'm not a transmission expert, but I ended up wondering if I really needed the new transmission. After they tore the car apart, there was really nothing I could do but go with their word. Maybe it was worth it, maybe it wasn't, but at the end of the day I wonder if they gave me something I didn't need.
