I used a coupon in the local ad magazine for a furnace check for $69., I needed it cleaned but could not get a price from the woman who answered the phone so set an appointment to have tech come out and look at my furnace. He arrived on time and began the inspection quickly noting that it needed to be cleaned. He did some things on his cell phone and then told me my furnace was at a 4 but he would lower it to a 3 and help me out a bit as far as the charge. Which ended up being $390. I was shocked and told him so. He said it was a comparable to other company's. Then in this weeks same magazine ad I found another company doing the same cleaning for $159.. He used no vaccume, no new filters, and couldn't replace a missing wing nut. I am an elderly citizen and feel I have been ripped off. I am talking to Tom Martino!!
