Review content:
My Cats has been treated by VCA Cypress College Park for years. Up until the day before Thanksgiving 2016 we will never trust our animal in their care. The vet did a quick examination of our sick cat with multiple problems. The vet and staff were many concerned by selling their wellness program and took several trips to explain the over inflated costs. The vet had to come back in the exam room because blame had not address all of our concerns on his behavior and treatment. Later that day I was concerned on his behavior and bathroom habits when we got home. She offered us bring him back to look at him again but we had lost the confidence and trust to make that effort. The girl running the front office is extremely lazy and doesn't answeryou when we had questions that day. She was very sarcastic and does her job " when she has time" when there was only us at the time of checking out. We ended up spending $150 that day on the visit and two medications. The vet had at first scarring us with several incorrect guesses diagnosis at first. The reason I am writing this review is to make others aware it's a matter of time you'll be searching for a new vet. Later that evening we ended up taking our cat the a 24 hour emergency because he had a urinary bacteria Trac infection. He q as so sick that the re emergency vet at Crossroads Emergency Care had to administer pain medication and more antibiotics. We were in such a panic and getting home at 1 am Thanksgiving Day exhausted us from a dreadful experience. The emergency vet that evening properly diagnosed him and gave him wonderful care. He was in there for 3 hours and took their time with him. They had provided us with coffee and snacks while we were in the waiting room. We were a emotional wreak that entire day. If our old vet had done her job along with the lazy receptionist this nightmare could have Been avoided especially on a holiday. VCA I o only concerned about their up selling, quick exams nd making money rather than really caring for pet parents. They were also only concerned about getting home to their families that holiday because they closed an hour early not able to have our cat re examined. If your pet needs a follow-up visit from the treatment provided they'll charge you another fee. VCA do your job correctly. Being fake and acting like they're concern won't go very far especially if pet owners an see right through what you're doing. Luckily our cat is much better right after the emergency vet we went to. He's still got more procedures but we are definitely never going back to any VCAs again. Their corporation is a rip off and take advantage of pet owners who are emotional subject to inflated charges. Shame on n you VCA. Their VCA emergency is the same too. We had contacted them and the receptionist there was sarcastic and tells you what you want to hear. We are tired of VCA staffs ingenious and scripted speech. There too wanted to charge us an office exam when earlier we had paid their clinic for a rush job and improper exam. We'll be wring a letter to your Corporation. expression our anger and disappointment.
