Review content:
I am betting the Rite Aid Pharmacy application requests its employees be courteous, polite, professional and maintain a good repore with its customers. You failed poorly tonight 11/7/2016.
The Pharmacy Hours say 9am to 9 pm. I arrived at 8:32pm and they had pulled the metal screen down to close the Drive-thru. I called the Pharmacy at 8:34 and asked if I could get my meds. They said the Drive-thru closes at 8:30pm. I asked when did that happen because the sign says 9am to 9pm.
I could hear them asking each other if there was a sign that said they close at 8:30pm. There is not. I asked if they could just let me get my prescriptions. They said I can walk in the store. I said, your sign says 9 - 9 ... not 8:30, can you just roll the window up and let me get my prescriptions please. They repeated I could walk in to pick them up. One female asked if I was handicapped?
I am handicapped and walking is a struggle although that had nothing to do with the fact they just decided to shut down early. I was pissed pretty bad, I said I will come back some other time thank you and began to drive off ... saying "......". I've been using that Pharmacy for over 3 years, each month and sometimes twice a month. I have never had a problem before. I am out of my prescriptions and needed them filled.
It seems the staff's attitude has changed and their concern about their customers is not as important as them walking out the door at 9:01pm. I consider my request to get the prescriptions was reasonable and during posted business hours. Their attitudes were petty, insulting and very unprofessional.
If your hours are posted 9am to 9pm and a customer arrives at 8:58pm, take care of them, that's what professional's do and that is what a well run business does. If you don't have that kind of devotion to your job and employer, find another job because better people are out there, looking for a job like yours.
I'm sorry I inconvienanced you.
