Review content:
My purpose here is to acknowledge the excellent service that I received from Andrew H. on 10-31-2016. I contacted the company in the morning and arranged an afternoon service call for leak detection that may be located under my concrete slab. To make a long story short I detected the leak 2 days prior and could not identify the water source. My neighbor who is an experienced contractor also helped me trouble shoot the problem and we exposed one drain line behind a wall without a definitive answer. Fearing the worst case scenario, I contacted Pipe Wrench Plumbing Company.
Andrew used his experience and good listening skills to work together with me to investigate the problem for about a half hour. After it became clear that the source of water was not obvious, we decided the next best step was to expose a water line behind a wall. By the way this was all in my garage, so cutting through some dry wall was not a big concern to me, but Andrew wanted to be sure how to proceed before randomly cutting holes in it. That one cut exposed the pin sized leak in a three quarter inch hot water line. Once the cause was identified it was clear that I was looking at a simple fix that I could do myself.
Andrew then took the time to give me a few pointers on using Pex for the repair, which I never used before. We did discuss the more typical repairs to the copper line, but the flexibility of Pex seemed the best option. I was then astounded when he said that there was no charge for the service call. At that point, I would have gladly paid a reasonable amount for his time, effort, professionalism, and overall great customer service that he gave me.
Andrew is clearly an asset to the company and the customers they serve. By the time I finished walking my dog that evening, I made it a point to tell two friends in my subdivision about my experience. I am sure I will tell others as time goes on and will not hesitate to use Pipe Wrench Plumbing Company in the future.
