Review content:
I live about 45 minutes away from Union City, so I do not personally use Dr.Gill services for my pets but my sister has for years. What brought me into his office is that I was dog sitting for my sister who went out of town. When I got to her house little Spencer Beauregard was flat on floor shaking, legs spread out and face into floor not able to lift his head. After a call to my sister, she told me to just start driving to Dr. Gill's office while she called to let him know. The lady who works the front desk was looking out the door when I drove up waiting for my arrival. She came to the car to help and hold doors open. I was frantic and upset and she took charge of the situation. Once she got lil Beau into an exam room, she took a moment to interrupt Dr. Gill who was with another patient just to let him know we arrived. Once he was able to give us full attention it took him moments to diagnose a ruptured disk. However, Dr. Gill explained that this would require test and surgery from a specialist. Not only did he refer me to a location, he called them before I left his office and faxed them his records for Beau. Prior to leaving, Dr. Gill had a straight forward talk with my sister (via phone) about the reality of cost, recovery and quality of life. Not once suggesting what he would do, but educating her (us) so that she could make the best decision for her and her pet. \r
I'm happy to report that Beauregard is doing well.\r
Thanks to Dr. Gill's help, honesty and realistic guidance my sister and her dog has made it over the hump. Even though Dr. Gill did not treat Spencer Beauregard for his ruptured disk, he called my sister to check in on the recovery process and even suggested therapy options. All this without a charge. Dr. Gill and his staff are fabulous. My sister has brought all her animals here for years and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my own fuzzy babies too.
