Review content:
We had a 50 year old, cast iron pipe spring a leak under our kitchen. The only way to access it, without having to rip out, and then replace, all the kitchen cabinets, as well as the floor above it, was through a very cramped crawl space that goes under the entire kitchen. The crawl space is only about 3 feet high, and the pipe is located around 20 feet from the crawl space's only opening. Our regular plumber wouldn't even try to do the job, because as he said, he is "just too old to be able to maneuver in such cramped conditions anymore". We called Water Works and they sent someone out the same day. The plumber they sent out wasn't even sure they could access the broken pipe, because of it's location. He called in a supervisor, to determine if they could accomplish the repair from the crawlspace. Shawn, the supervisor who did the repair, was wonderful! He explained exactly what the job would entail, and promised he would "do the job correctly the first time, because he never wanted to have to come back and re-do it under these conditions again!" Shawn was better than his word, he worked the whole day, in incredibly cramped conditions, to replace the broken section of pipe. I don't know how he managed to do such a good job under the circumstances, but he did a great job! His professionalism, both with the job and with us, couldn't have been better. He kept us informed as to what he was doing every step of the way. His willingness to work under such adverse conditions, saved us an extensive amount of time, inconvenience and money. We didn't think that kind of work ethic even existed any more. Thanks, Shawn, we truly appreciate everything you did for us! Water Works will definitely be our "go to" for all our future plumbing needs. Their performance was way beyond our expectations, and when was the last time you heard that, in today's "good enough" world?
