I called for repair to a home window, and was given a quote for my Andersen window. The day of the appointment, the man called and stated ""not sure that they told you, but there is a $45 charge for an estimate, but you can put it towards your repair."" Since I already knew the estimate, I agreed. When the worker came over, he looked at the window and immediately told me that he wouldn't repair it. He spent the rest of the time giving me phone numbers of people to call to repair it. Then of course charged me $45. Now, they KNEW the window dimensions, brand of window, etc. when I had first called, so then to come out and charge me when they would not repair it is insane. I also looked them up when the man left and the BBB gives them an ""F"". I am angry with myself for not doing my homework and out $45 of a rip off. By the way, the Kansas CIty number actually routes you to the actual business ""kansas city glass doctor/harmon""- so you know. Cons: see below
