we are new to the Austin area. My wife and I needed to find a good eye dr and we were told about the Mann Institute from a friend who uses them. I made my initial appointment to have my eyes examined and found that I was a candidate for Cataract surgery. They went through the different options for my lifestyle including procedures, lens options and costs involved. I went with Laser assisted surgery and multifocal lenses. The procedure was scheduled in a few weeks and performed on a Tuesday and Thursday at the NW Medical Center here in Austin. The whole experience from the initial visits and follow ups @ Mann, and the surgery @ N W Medical Center could not have been easier. My new vision is amazing - it has been two weeks now since the surgery. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience. Dr Luke Barker and his entire staff @ Mann and the staff at the hospital were all very nice to deal with.
