Review content:
John and his associate came out to sweep the chimney in our new home this week. I have never had a wood-burning fireplace before, so I didn't know what to expect. He was very thorough, and took the time to explain what he was doing and why it needed to be done. Like the previous poster said, he set up a large sheet and shop vac, then put plastic around the chimney so that no dust would escape into the house. He then climbed up on the roof, inspected the chimney, and advised us to switch our low-lying rain cap to a critter cap instead, because smoke would start to back up into the chimney with such a low, solid cap. They even offered to remove the satellite dish from the chimney for me (which I was just complaining about because Directv installed it incorrectly and won't come take it down!). When he was finished, he took extra time to tell me about how a fireplace works, how to care for it, how to use it, etc. Overall, I was extremely happy with the service, and will definitely use John and his company again.
