Review content:
I wanted to put in a plug for the Abigail boutique on Piedmont Ave. They carry some great designers who I can't find anywhere else -- everything beautifully made and sophisticated even when casual, from Max Mara (my favorite!) to Cambio jeans, from smart dresses to simple tees. Not at all trendy, just classic and elegant. They have a very nice lingerie section in the rear of the shop as well, with cozy robes and pretty camis and so on. Gail and her staff know their stuff -- what's flattering, fits well, etc. -- and if you're looking for great service, you'll find it here. They've ordered items in my size that they didn't have left in stock, arranged for minor alterations, etc. no problem. Lovely people. Gail always gushes over my young kids when I come in, which they like too. They have a Web site you can find on Google, since I can't post it here according to the rules. :) Pros: parking behind shop; customer service; prices aren't marked up Cons: closed on sunday
