My husband and I had wanted to try Long Horn Steakhouse for quite some time, so we decided to try it when we had our anniversary date. We had to wait almost one full hour to get seated, which I didn't mind much since it was a Saturday night. Person after person with reservations got seated before us, and we knew that we would have to place reservations the next time we visited Long Horn. \r \r When we were finally seated, we were hungry and eager for our food. Unfortunately, the best thing about the meal was the bread. The service was mediocre; the server's demeanor was lukewarm the entire evening, and she was absent most of the meal . We often sat for extended periods of time waiting for drinks, which was a bit surprising considering that the establishment was small. I am a very slow eater, and I finished my salad and the bread long before the meal arrived.
