My wife and family have been going to Barry Jay for along time. My daughter recently sold some gold to him and was very pleased. My family swears by him and his honesty so I decided to see how good he was. I took about 20 items I wanted to sell and broke them down into pyles. I took them to two other local jewelers for prices. The first place I stopped at was in media and made me a offer of $1,150.00, the second place was in Springfield and he was close at $1,190.00 . Barry Jays was my last stop and he was $1,645.00. Now that is a big difference. I told him the story afterwards. I promised him I would write a review for him. Now like I said my family has been going to him for along time so besides buying my gold he has made alot of jewelry for us and we have always been very happy with him and his store's customer service. I would highly recommend stopping in and meeting him, for a young guy he has old world values.
