Review content:
The vehicle took 12 days to repair which I thought was fairly reasonable. I didn't want it to be rushed to ensure it would be done right. With that said, when I picked up my vehicle on 7/22, I expected the body repair to look flawless and the vehicle to operate the same way it did when I dropped it off on 7/7. That was not the case. The blending of the paint on the hood, vender and door was hazy, the undercarriage panel was not screwed back in, and when I turned on the AC, my blower motor sounded like a boat engine which was not the case when it was dropped off on 7/7. When I brought this to Turnpike Motors attention that day, they informed me there is nothing they can do, it may be a defective part and suggested taking it to Ford Dealership. I took their word for it and scheduled an appointment with Ford dealership Monday morning 7/25. Ford informed me to take it back to Turnpike motors to investigate and see if a mouse or acorn or anything got stuck in there while at the shop. I met with Todd Bristol the Head of Service Department to review each issue, and he was very helpful. He offered to investigate the blower motor to see if anything got in there, and sure enough it was a mouse. He also offered to buff out/blend the hood, vendor, door and screw undercarriage panel that same day. Other than the inconvenience this caused, in the end Todd was helpful in addressing these issues right then and there. Todd offered to bring the vehicle back if any other issues come up. From a customer service standpoint, I believe this should've been investigated prior to turning over the vehicle to the Owner to prevent these issues. Not the smoothest experience with Turnpike motors but Todd was able to address the issues in the end. RESPONSE FROM Turnpike Motors: Thank you Paul for your valuable feedback. It was unfortunate that when wet sanding and buffing the side of the vehicle after paint there were a few spots that died back after the glaze dried, but we really appreciate the opportunity to resolve it quickly for you. On the plus side we were able to solve some other issues you were having with the vehicle that were not related to the repair or accident such as the mice that had moved into your dashboard. Maybe we should have installed traps for the next time they try to move in. ;)
