I was originally supposed to pick up our rental car at 5pm, but called and talked to Marco earlier in the week and he said it would be no problem for us to come and pick the car up at 4 instead. Well, we got there at 4:05 and the car was not there. Marco was not there but Mike said the car was on it's way and should be there in a bit, it was coming back from Ohare. So, we waited and waited and waited some more (and we were going on vacation, so it's not like we had nothing else to be doing to get ready) and the car finally got there at 5:55. I had also asked about adding another driver once we got to NY, and Mike said no problem, just go into any Budget location and they can be added, just need to show their license. Our plans got pushed back because we were not able to drop our dog off at the boarder (they had closed while we were waiting for the rental to arrive) but was told to call customer service that they would "make things right". Well after dropping the car back off, Marco told me there would be an additional $68 fee since we had added another driver to the original contract. WHAT!! I told him about all of the issues before getting the car, on top of the fact that no one ever mentioned that there was a fee for adding a driver and he said sorry, but there was nothing he could do about it. After leaving, I called customer service they said they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do. This is a terrible way for them to do busines and I would never use or recommend them!
