I'm glad to see so many positive responses to my first posting. First, I HAVE been a client of Dr. Gail Counts, underline have. Secondly, when it comes to my pets, money is not an object, regardless of what was read into my previous statement. Also, she advertises 24 hour emergency services, so she should be prepared to be "awakened from a sound sleep" when she's on call, and not be so whiny about it, as some of her clients seem to be. I expect and demand excellent care for my animals and won't accept anything less. Yes, 3 o'clock in the morning isn't a lot of people's "best" times and I realize that. My regular veterinarian's emergency line happened to be out at that time unfortunately, and when I discussed it with him, it was promptly taken care of. Also, for your information and perusal--how can a wound become so quickly and obviously infected in a little over twelve hours IF it was supposedly treated?
