In 2004-2005 I went to Dexter and Dexter to revisit my Divorce decree due to my Ex had moved out of State and I wanted to have visitation rights changed so I could have 2 months lump with my son instead of every 2 weeks. Since I now live in Utah County but then with my now Ex lived in Cache County so the Divorce was filed in Logan. \r

We hired Dexter and Dexter in Orem to represent us in court. We arrived to their office on the day of court expecting to follow or ride with out attorney up to Logan to court, we hadn't heard what time court was, just when to meet our lawyer at his office. \r

We found out that court was being held in 20 minutes. I asked why we were not meeting earlier so we had time to drive up, our lawyer said, ""I want to do this over the phone."" he called the court. The judge was in the court as was my Ex's lawyer. The judge sounded surprised and mad that no prior arrangement was made, that our lawyer wasn't in court and that he wanted to do it over the phone. \r

I was livid, but since we were on speaker phone, I kept my cool. I did ask that we could postpone until we could make it up to Logan, the judge denied that request. I knew I was just about to get screwed. \r

I only got 1 month, not guaranteed, up to my Ex if she wanted to allow it or not, and added child support from $175 per month to $475 per month. \r

I have posted this complaint other places, but it seems that it keeps disappearing, Can't find any complaints about this company. I will keep posting and keep letting everyone I know never to hire this inept and corrupt lawyer firm for any business ever.
