I am extremely pleased in my dealings with RE Granite and Marble. My emails and phone conversations were always with Sharon, who was consistently pleasant and very accommodating! I was looking for a remnant to be customized for a new kitchen island (on casters), and I was trying to match, as best as I could, the granite counters that came with my new house nine years ago. The original granite installer for the builder, I found out, was no longer in business. I wrote to a large number of granite vendors, and only heard from one: RE Granite and Marble. Although this was only a small order, RE G&M, through Sharon, treated me as if I was getting an entire large new kitchen; what a treat. Although they did not have the exact granite available, Sharon directed me to a list of all the remnants they did have. When I found one that was an excellent substitute, Sharon offered to send me a sample, and to my great surprise, she did not even want to be paid for the sample (even more to my delight, she later said I did not have to return the sample and that I could use it for a door stop, which indeed I have). Having made my selection, I gave the go ahead, and the granite was ready in less than a week, and this included planning it down from 1 ¼ inch thickness to ¾ inch thickness! Oh, I forgot to mention that RE G&M’s price was excellent!! When I went to pick up the Granite, I met Doug, who, although they were quite busy, gave me a quick tour of the shop, and the equipment, as well as explaining how the very large and heavy granite pieces are moved around. My ENTIRE dealings with RE Granite and Marble were outstanding and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
