I have been to at least 4 vets in the year and a half that I have been in the Las Vegas Area. I became really disillusioned, and almost desperate. The vets seemed indifferent. This animal hospital opened on January 25, 2008. I happened to call them the next week because I was looking for a place so that my dogs (two) could get their shots. Dr. Lewis was very pleasant and even noticed that my boy dog had a rash. He set up a follow-up appointment. Also,my boy dog has a heart murmur. All the other vets told me that they couldn't do anything until he had shortness of breathe, or other severe symptoms. Dr. Lewis referred me to the Las Vegas Veterinary referral service. My dog saw a vet cardiologist. He is now on medication (beta blockers and blood pressure). The specialist told me that my dog's blood pressure needed to be regulated and that he could have had a major heart attack! \r \r Additionally, my girl dog had necessary surgery with Dr. Lewis.
