We made facial appointments with the Yampa Spa for our 3 daughters several days in advance. This was to be a special "end-of-summer" treat for them. On the morning of our appointment, just before we were leaving town for the 3-hour drive to Glenwood Springs, we were suddenly informed by phone that they could only do two of the facials at our pre-scheduled time! Apparently the woman I was speaking with on the phone all week didn't realize the spa she worked in only had two facial rooms, not three. (?) Having no other option available, I reluctantly accepted the earlier appointment time for one of my daughters, which meant we had to rush to get there and forego swimming or lunch ahead of time. Fast forward -- after the facials were completed, we inquired about why they were so short. We had been told the facials lasted 90 minutes, yet all 3 of our daughters were back out within 65 minutes (and this included eyebrow waxing). Well, apparently the aestheticians need an extra 15 minutes to "
