I have taken my dogs, cats, ferrets, mice and rats to see Matt Mears and Jane and Bill Vaughn at Indian Ridge. The initial line is always long because this hospital is a popular place, but once you are checked in, you can go to the back side of the lobby and sit on the benches to wait for your room. The doctors at IRAH have always been very helpful and in the case of my mice and rats, they were always willing to read the information I brought in about their care and we would decide on a course of action together for the treatment. They are extremely knowledgeable, even with exotics, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their pricing for exotics care is the best in the tri-cities! I drive to Kingsport from Bristol just to have my animals seen at this veterinarian hospital.
