I live in Wilmington, which is about an hour from Jacksonville. I Own large Exotic birds and find it difficult to find toys of the appropriate size for my birds at any local pet store. I was excited when my Neice ( who was stationed at Camp Lejune ) told me of this great place with large bird toys. So I took the trip to The Pet Warehouse. I was amazed at all the stuff they had and took great pleasure in socializing with the birds. I purchased a few large toys for my birds and proceeded to the checkout. The women at the register was quite nice. It was months before I had to go back.however when I did return I again had a wonderful experience. The women at the register did remind me that I needed to use hand sanitizer before I touched the birds. She was very polite about it. I think it is great that they keep such watch over the interaction with the animals. I could see where some might take this as them being rude , but would you want the animals to die because someone brought in a di
