The only reason my wife and I tried out 3 Chicas Mexican Kitchen was because we had a 2-for-1 coupon for the Entertainment Book. Otherwise, I don't think we would have even noticed this restaurant at all.
Located in Wyckoff, NJ, 3 Chicas Mexican Kitchen wasn't anything I expected it to be. I thought it would be more of a formal sit-down dining restaurant. Instead, we found it to be like a fast food experience. Okay, perception #1 was squashed, but we decided to try it out anyway.
The food is mediocre at best. I guess the restaurant is catering more to a general crowd whose taste doesn't include really spicy food. At least that's remedied with the "sauce bar" where you can load up on your favourite spices. Still, the food was bland regardless how much you tried to doctor it up.
We didn't enjoy our food as much as we wanted. It's not bad for the type of service they are catering to, but I guess we expected more than that. There are places to sit down but not a lot. Most of the busines
