So I made an appt for 2 dogs at 10am Sat for grooming. My friend drops them off and they get the dogs and say ok you can go. I call to see what approx time they will be done. Then I'm told that they didnt get info from me and the man who dropped them off was in a hurry and took off and that it is a requirement for the dogs to have the ""influenza shot"" before any dog is serviced there. (They already had my info, this was my 2nd time there.) MInd you the dogs were already there for an hour & half, and wanted to know if it was ok for the Dr to give them each a shot. $26 a dog, have to come back in 3 weeks to get 2nd dose for another fee. If i'd had known, then I wouldn't of brought my dogs there(50 minutes away) for the 2nd time. My friend went back to pick them up at almost 3pm and they told him they were just finishing up and they would be out in a minute. A half hour later, they bring out 2 dogs that weren't mine. So 5 hours later, we have no word when approximately they will be done and the place closes at 4pm. Mgr stated that all vets in the area were recommending this shot. I had just had mine to a reputable vet 3 days previous and nothing was said about this shot. Mgr said she'd waive it and not require the shot this time but was needed for next time. If the flu is such a big deal than how did my dogs get in???? SO sorry, this will be my last time coming here.
