?BEDBUGS!! BEWARE-- LOW Quality Inn--BTW I did the best to resolve the issue with Choice Hotels and no go?\r \r At 2:30 a.m. my partner jumped out of bed and threw a bedbug that had bitten him three times in his body into the bathroom sink. We took that sucker in one of those transparent cups and went straight to the manager. After a lot of discussion where no additional bedbugs were found in the room, I called the 1800 reservations number and had them book us with another room at a nearby Quality Inn, with the understanding that the billing would be sorted out the next morning. The sales rep asked us to get the confirmation number for our hotel room stay that night.\r \r BTW we also witnessed a loud curse-filled argument by a Harley Davidson bike rider and an asian man in which the asian man ended up with a bloodied face. And we met a very friendly young woman in a red dress and high heels who seemed to have nothing to do but hang out in the lobby.\r \r It turned out that there was NO confirmation number, as we had paid in cash and the manager never registered our visit.\r \r The new hotel was much more expensive, and the room not much better.\r \r The next day I called customer service and they refused to refund the stay of the new hotel with the reasoning that there was no receipt for our stay. They had the record of my call to sales, and the new arrival in the wee hours, but refused to give satisfaction.\r \r It is my opinion that an organization that would allow a hotel manager to avoid registering guests and pocket the money and at the same time avoid responsibility for satisfying complaints deserves this review.\r \r Stayed July 2016, traveled as a couple
