Review content:
We celebrated our 30th anniversary last night, so of course we went to our favorite restaurant, Riazzi's. Just walking into this ultra-relaxing place is a pleasure. We settled into our usual padded booth in the bar, and the sounds of a new Italian music tape wafted around the room, added a nice touch. Our usual waiter and server brought us everything from the scrumptious warm bread with butter, to our salads, and finally our dishes of scampi for me and scallops for my husband. We'd like to try other tempting things on their menu, but keep coming back to these favorites. We had no room for dessert, but couldn't end the feast without taking something to go, so I got a cannoli with caramel sauce. We continued to savor our meal at home with bites of this delectable, melt-in-your mouth tidbit. A fitting end to a special meal on a special day, at a restaurant that's been the setting for so many special times together. Here's to Riazzi's, and we look forward to many more visits at our favorite restaurant.
