My husband and I stayed at the Quality Inn for a 4th of July family reunion in Blairsville, PA. When we got there, we were totally taken by surprise when we discovered it was a pet-friendly hotel. We learned of that little surprise when we heard the loud barking in a nearby room. At first we thought it might just be another guest's seeing eye dog barking in the room, but our other suspicions were confirmed when we met a friendly, young girl going down the stairs walking a dog on a leash the old fashion way when we were heading for our complimentary breakfast. This was the very first pet-friendly hotel we've ever visited, and we really liked it. The room and the entire hotel were very clean. My family members who live there told me that hotel was recently renovated, so we were very lucky to get everything pretty new. I had a very nice time. I don't think there was anything missing to enjoy in my room. Compared to my previous trip, it wasn't quite the same because my last one was more of a romantic getaway and this was more of a family get together so we couldn't have fun the same kind of way. Too bad my last place wasn't as pet friendly!
