Review content:
My dental insurance changed so I had to pick a new dentist. I made an appointment at Embassy to get my teeth cleaned and have my initial appointment. After the x-rays and pictures --- they have a big screen and camera to show you your teeth -- even the backs of you teeth they recommended a deep cleaning that cost an extra 138.00 bucks. I came in that day expecting to pay nothing! Anyway, I ended up getting a laser treatment and deep cleaning and them presented with a $7000.00 treatment plan -- $4,000.00 of which I would have to pay out of pocket. Well, with their fancy camera they pretty much convinced me that I needed the deep cleaning and laser treatment that I forked my money over for. I called my insurance company to complain and although there is nothing that can be done the insurance rep suggested I pick a dentist with his name on the door instead of one of these chains. I've no doubt I need SOME work done on my teeth but I'm NOT paying 4,000.00 out of pocket. I WISH I had just gotten out the chair before I agreed to get my teeth cleaned for $138.00 but I was dazed and confused....they are brilliant with pulling out all the stops to make you afraid! Still -- I should've just walked. I have buyers regret now and I'm not going back there. I still need a dentist and I will be a lot more care with the next one I go to. I will fully vet him/her before I go.
