Our stay at Econo Lodge in Oak Grove, MO was horrible. Our room had dirty towels and belongings from other occupants and our car was hit and run by an Econo Lodge vendor. The crime was reported to the owner and he was "too busy with other things" to report it to police or even let his guests know. Since this time we have been cussed at, threatened, lied to, and overcharged for our room by the OWNER because we filed a police report after he attempted to intimidate us and tell us it was not necessary and we asked him for the vendors contact information. I would tell you the owners name but he said I do not need that information... that it is confidential and he doesn't have to give it to me. The response from the Choice Hotels after they reached out to me seeing my unhappy review was the following...\r
