Review content:
When I noticed water dripping from the soffit in front of my garage door, I decided something had to be done, in spite of the fact that there were no leaks inside the house and the roof appeared to be in good shape.
As luck would have it, your project manager showed up on our doorstep the following day saying that your firm had redone several roofing jobs in the area recently and that he would be glad to inspect our roof at no charge. I readily agreed. Twenty minutes later, he was again at our door saying we qualified (under our homeowner's insurance) for a new roof and could he come in and contact our homeowners insurance company for an inspection? I agreed and the date was set four days later. He then explained that the existing roof no longer met current building codes and would require new decking, covered by insurance. He also described the storm quality shingles that would be installed that would help lower our home insurance premiums. I signed a contract for the amount and he left saying he would call about materials delivery and a start date once the insurance company agreed to meet with him, inspect the roof and OK the project.
The insurance adjuster arrived and looked around with your project manager and informed me that the obvious leak was not covered! They then inspected the roof and the adjuster then stated that the roof did not qualify for replacement. Your project manager then took him back on the roof and pointed out all the damage to the shingles that the adjuster had not seen. The adjuster then advised me that we did qualify for a new roof and issued us a check to begin the project.
Later, the materials arrived as promised; and after a rain delay, the roofing crew showed up and finished the entire job in one day. They also installed new wind turbines and roof vents, which I had not expected. The only problem was the mess left in the attic and the garage from all the tear off the crew had to do to replace the decking as well as the shingles. They swept out the garage and said they would be back to clean up the rest of the mess in the attic and all the debris on the garage shelving, tool bench, and cabinets. I called your project manager and stated the problem, and he agreed to have it cleaned up. Three days later, the crew showed up, including one of their wives, and proceeded to clean the garage and attic better than it had looked in years.
I was very satisfied with the work as well as the quality of the materials and would recommend Great Western Roofing to any of my friends or family; and I particularly wish to thank your project manager, Sean Patrick O'Leary, for seeing the job through as efficiently as he did.
