My son is a graduate of SLDC 3 yrs . ago It is the best comprehensive program for children with Autism in California. He received individualized, on-on-one therapy in a friendly, caring and loving environment. He was an important child in a big "family." He not only improved in leaps and bounds behaviorly and academically, but came a well-rounded, confident and "social" person as well. I can't say enough about the teachers and therapists at this school. They are so patient with all their students and do everything possible to create the best learning environment for them. Social skills training is outstanding and the most effective I have heard of. They really treat each child as a special individual. I now have a 16yr. old son who gets along with others and is very well liked by his peers. He now has the skills and confidence to succeed in life, and that is what we parents dream of!
