Dr. Jeff Bloomberg was the first vet we saw when we moved to Chicago almost 8 years ago. We followed his vet care from the city to the burbs. With two medically needy (1 epileptic and 1 that has survived cancer, a hip replacement, and numerous other ailments) and somewhat elderly dogs, we go to the vet more than I care to admit. If I thought I could get better, more personalized care closer to the city, you can be assured that I would do that. But, my hounds still head out to Schaumburg whenever they need to see their doctor. P.S. We like Dr. Katie too! As an update, my dogs continued to see Dr. Jeff until they had to go to the big field in the sky. I can't imagine having gone to anyone else for those last two vet visits. We always found Dr. Jeff to be personable, knowledgeable, and willing to work with us on what the best treatments were for our dogs. Much like a mechanic, once you find a vet that you trust and does right by you and your dogs (car), you keep going back.
