Review content:
Requested a quote and ended up sent to a collections company. This agent was once an account manager at a local bank. She left them and decided to strike a claim in insurance. And she took my contact info with her. She is sweet and nice... and persistent... so I told her sure, she could give me a quote, but it was an all or nothing package - vehicles, homeowners, workers comp, etc. Now normally, you spend 15-20 minutes on the phone and get a quote. Dozens of calls and emails later, she just couldn't get it together, and I told her no. Months later, a collections company contacts me because Country Financial has turned over my unpaid account to them... though I never had insurance or signed a single document. I contact Country and they tell me that I was being billed for a month's worth of auto insurance on several vehicles because Natalie started a policy for me the first day I requested a quote... even though I had Geico the entire time. So I go round with Natalie, Country and Afni, trying to clear up my account and supposedly it's good. A couple of months later, Afni contacts me - my account is still in collections and my credit has been damaged. Country tells me that I need to speak to Natalie. Natalie is unresponsive.
