I have NEVER been so disappointed in a bakery as Rheinlander! I ordered a huge cake for my mother's 80th birthday. I paid approximately $150. I emailed a photo of what I wanted the cake to look like and I wrote a very detailed email. It was a circus-themed party and there were to be 8 clowns on the cake. The photo showed clowns all over the cake.\r

The owner went on vacation and I spoke with another employee on 2 separate occasions to make sure that everything was going smoothly.\r

When my sister picked up the cake, there were NO CLOWNS whatsoever! The cake looked like Syrofoam! \r

The bakery was not willing to do ANYTHING about the cost of this cake. If this had cost $50, it would have been one thing - but a $150 cake??? Where I had been explicit in the directions?\r

Luckily, Visa came to my rescue and issued me a $50 credit because they felt so badly for me.\r
\r
This bakery is INCOMPETENT and they have the WORST customer service in the world! If you are looking for a special cake
