Le Meridien is in the theater district downtown. It is also central to shopping, entertainment and business. The ambiance is rich in art and design. And, as consistent with the image of the chain, there is an elegant French/European style service that really furthers the reputaion of "nice" Minnesotans as well as the rumor of rich cultural influence of Minneapolis. Rates are on the high side (around $250 per night unless you have some affiliation), however, if you are looking for pampering and to be at the heart of things, the experience is worth it.
