Review content:
This restaurant chain suffers from the usual glut of menu choices that just don't measure up. Our lunch was substandard for even a fast food place. We both ordered the Eggplant Parmesan. What a disappointment. Two paper thin breaded eggplant slices way overdone and a side of spaghetti that was so small it could have been a leftover from another plate. The sauce was skimpy and cold. A salad bowl was brought to the table along with breadsticks. Assumed we had to share among the three of us. Our guest had the soup and salad special but never got any refills. Our salad was good (maybe they should just stick to that) but never got replenished. The final blow to our disappointing experience was the coffee. Brought to the table in a cup with carafe, both were cold. When asked for a replacement, waitress brought another just as cold. Olive Garden quality has been declining rapidly. Darden needs to trim the menu to a few good entre?s they can make well, and then put the customer first in all ways. Probably won't return to OG anytime soon.
