The reason I'm giving a low rating pertains to the second roof I had them do. Some material was installed improperly and I haven't heard back from them about what they're going to do about it yet. I asked them to send me the warranty on the roof, and when they sent it to me, it was not for the roof I have. My roof was a heavier roof than the replacement, but they wouldn't give me what I want in writing.
Another problem is that the second roof installer wasn't nailing the shingles like they should be nailed. I asked them if improper installation could do anything to invalidate my warranty and they wouldn't tell me anything. They're great people, and they try hard. I really like them but I can't recommend someone who puts on roofs wrong and I don't know why there wouldn't be a warranty. They mean well, but they need to iron out the wrinkles and make sure their guys are doing the job right.
