Review content:
Just happened to find the negative review on Farid and had to set the record straight.
I know Farid for over 25 years. She has been watching children in her home all that time.
She watched my own son when he was young and now, most recently, has watched my grandson.
I have had the opportunity to observe her with the children over the years many times when I dropped in to say hello. Patience and compassion are two words to describe this woman. She treats these children like her own, caring for them and catering to them before her own needs. She never leaves them alone, not for one minute, because she is wise in knowing that they could get hurt without her supervision. I know for a fact that she is always giving the kids food when the parents forget to pack lunches, and snacks when they are hungry. She cares for them when they are sick so that the parents could still go to work. She cares for them as early as 5 AM or as late as midnight so that a parent could work an early or late shift from work. She even waits for money when the parents are short on funds.
What more could you ask of someone? She potty trains them, teaches them manners, and sometimes even buys them clothes when the parents are poor. I am a former school teacher and quite fussy about day care. You may not get the luxury of a huge daycare, but in my opinion, you are getting a family setting with lots of love.
