My husband and I recently drove to Boone this weekend to celebrate our 12th anniversary. We wanted a place that had a pool, hot tub, nice restaurant on site and where we could get a couples massage. I found this resort through the visitors center and called them. They told me over the phone that they had everything we were looking for. So I gave them our cc# and booked the king size suite. It is not what we expected when we check in. There was no romance basket in the room. There was no jacquzzi in the room. Only a whirlpool tub. There was no pool. Only a lap pool and it was closed. There was a hot tub but it was closed. I was very disappointed. We stayed for about 1 hour and checked out. \r

If I am asking for particular items for an onsite resort you would think that they would tell you the specifics.
