Seems to me because I am a single woman I was taken advantage of...As soon as he came in my door he said I was going to have to pay him a lot of money and he hadn't even look at my problems?....He replaced the hoses to my kitchen faucet b/c they were leaking and removed my tub stopper that was glued in - simple work for a experienced plumber but he charged me $280 in labor plus a $45 trip charge.. So that is $325 for an hour and 20 minutes for total visit.. This work was a one man job so he apparently charged me for his helper even though I advised him before the day of my appointment that this was only a one man job...My mother was in town visiting and she could not believe that someone would rip me off like this because this was a serious overcharge for the work that was done...I will never hire a handyman ever again!...Lesson Learned!
