When I was looking for an apartment, I happened upon a real estate agent that bought me to the Charles River Park Apartments. She said they were within my price rangs (under $2500) for the size I wanted (over 1000 square feet). They were neither of these things. Though the leasing agent claimed that the apartment we were looking at was over 1000 square feet, it was more like 700. I had my doubts when she presented me with pricing "ranges" for the units we were looking at. We didn't end up renting here- and it's a good thing too. I have heard since that they try to discount the first year lease, but then jack the price way up thereafter- only interested in closing the sale and not keeping the tenants.
