Review content:
Out of the blue, the bonded retainer - installed by my orthodontist in another state - came detached and was causing me terrible pain. The wire poked me all weekend - it was terrible. Then, on Monday, I called my orthodontist back home and asked if their office could refer me to someone in Nashville. When they asked where in the city I was located, and I told them and mentioned that an acquaintance had recommended Dr. Gluck, the nurse on the other end of the line exclaimed, ""That's exactly who you need to see! Dr. Gluck and (my orthodontist) are friends [and part of the same professional group].""
So I promptly called Dr. Gluck's office, and they verified the professional and personal relationship between Dr. Gluck and my orthodontist. I should mention, I am in my mid-20's, and I got my braces on and off about a decade ago. I should also mention that my family and our community has tremendous respect for my orthodontist back home.
Dr. Gluck's staff worked extremely quickly to obtain my records and develop a treatment plan that fixed my painful dilemma, was priced reasonably and satisfied their liability (as I'm not their patient but in my ortho's retention). I got an appointment within 24 hours of requesting their help. The fix was simple, and Dr. Gluck's staff made sure that the back-end administrative issues - potentially complicated by my out-of-state status - were just as simple. Within an hour of being in their office, I was all better.
And sure enough, Dr. Gluck's office reminded me distinctly of my terrific orthodontist back home - and the staff certainly made me feel at home. Lastly, I should note that I observed that Dr. Gluck's clients ranged in age from about 10 years younger than me to about 10 years older. His office was very comfortable, and all signs pointed to a doctor who is personally committed to top-notch care and an all-around pleasant experience for his patients.
Pros: Friendly, skillful staff; Accomodating schedule
