Review content:
I took my car in because the brake light kept coming on and off. After the free brake inspection, I was told that the front brake pads were all worn down and the rotors needed to be replaced. They also said it would be best to do the same with the back brakes and that I needed new tires. The estimated cost for eveything was over $1000. I told them I would let my husband know and be back in a few days, since he was deployed and I needed to wait to hear from him via email. He said to go ahead with the repairs, but on the day I went in they didn't have anyone available. Having time on my hands, I decided to take it into Midas for a second opinion. After they did the inspection I was told that the brakes were FINE and that only about 50% of the pads were worn, so they didn't need to be replaced just yet. They said the brake fluid was pretty low so when I left, I bought some brake fluid, added it and the light has not come on since! It was a $3.00 fix that would have cost waaaay more if Pep
