I use pepboys only when they have what I need and can't get it elsewhere.
The service is very slow and the counter people are usually rude.
I do not suggest having your car worked on at pepboy. They have no qualified mechanics and can do no large jobs.
I took my car into pepboys to have the air recharge. They said the air conditioning was shot and everything was going out.
I took it to a specialist and they laughed at pepboy. The only thing wrong was I had two small leaks and they said it wasnt worth fixing. The hoses would cost to much to replace and by the time it was finished I could have had it recharged a dozen times for the same price. Its been three months using that ac since pepboys and it still gets cold.
