Over $2000 in internal engine damage!!!!!! \r
I brought my car into this shop when a piece of road debris punctured my radiator and broke the cooling fan. \r
When I came to pick up my car I noticed that it was still leaking coolant so I asked to speak to the mechanic who had worked on it. When I asked him why the car was leaking he proceeded into a profanity laced rant. When he finally came out to the car I opened the hood and discovered that the air intake was missing, both headlights were broken, and the car was showing a check engine light. I noticed that the coolant on the ground was green instead of the purple that this car is required to have. When I asked about why the wrong antifreeze was in the car the mechanic, Sergei, stated that there is no such thing as "wrong" antifreeze. On the coolant tank and in the owner's manual VW warns that you cannot use Glycol Ethynol coolant in my car. The bottle the mechanic showed me clearly states that the primary ingredient is Glycol Ethynol.
