Review content:
The home improvement mega-store seems to be the wave of the future, but I can't help but remember the Hardware Stores of my youth where the clerks knew you by name and job, and were always ready to help find that one little piece that you needed to complete a job. And if all you needed was one bolt--that's all you needed to buy. Now you have to buy a package of six bolts, four nuts, and eight washers to get one set, and then try to find them again when you need them.
PROS: lots of stuff
CONS: impersonal, pre-packaged parts
