In desperate need of new blinds for my apartment, I headed to home depot with window measurements in hand and a determination to check things off of that day?s to do list. Ever since I was a little kid, I have been overwhelmed by Home Depot. The 18,000 foot ceilings, the hundreds of people milling about, faucets on top of paint samples on top of potted plants, and the loud buzz of activity are enough to make any child a little wonky. As an adult, visiting the Mecca of home goods still invokes a slight sense of panic for me. Lucky for me Home Depot employs a top rate, accommodating staff to help guide you through the madness of lumber, lamps, and Lucite. Steering me through to the right section of this monolith of a store, Greg (my new best home depot friend) helped me pick out an affordable, attractive set of blinds for my bedroom as mine are about a hundred years old and falling apart. I also asked Greg about other adornments for my apartment, and he was thorough and efficie
