After checking their website we went to do a reality check on the pair of LG Power Steamer washer/dryer. A salesperson asked me if I need some help but in a way like don't touch if you don't buy attitude so I told him I'll get back to him once we finalize our choice and we moved on. I asked a nicer salesman but he kindly begged off and referred us to back to the guy who later introduced himself as 'schooled for W/Ds'. When asked about LG vs GE, he started that LG is becoming the leader but "we don't know how their factories look like" compared to the US. He cited as an example one 'American' brand he sells (opening a lid briefly) that it's made in Mexico and "I don't even know the factories look like". He also mentioned who knows if other brands are made in Bangladesh we don't even know about. I interrupted him before he mentioned my country and get offended by saying, of course they are manufacturing these according to the brands standards (with ISO, UL in mind) but he ignored me and
