Review content:
Do not under any circumstances use Willis Permian movers if you value your possessions. We used them to pack up our things in boxes and pack those boxes and our furniture into Pods. We did not use them to move or store our things. And this review is based SOLELY on their PACKING job.\r
\r
I am an artist and had a number of delicate pieces that had to be moved and which required careful packing. When we received the Pod and began unpacking it became clear quite quickly that the packing was insufficient. Two sculptures were packed on the top of the boxes with very, VERY little packing to protect them from jostling or impact from other boxes. Another piece was packed so close to the wall of a box that a piece broke off. And the final piece was packed at the bottom of a box, THE BOTTOM. All together $5,000 in artwork was lost, and as a relatively poor artist this is devastating. I spoke with the owner of the company who said they would take no responsibility for their packing because they did not ?move and store our items.? Had the boxes been pack with a modicum of care I?m absolutely certain the loss would have been minimal. But the appalling nature of the packing left the pieces with no protection from even the box in which they were packed. And that doesn?t even take into account the piece packed in the bottom of a box. If they aren't responsible, who is?\r
\r
Don?t risk your possessions.
