As a lover of books, I feel so fortunate to live in a community that has a world class book store like The BookMark. Not only do we get to hear best-selling authors thanks to Rona(Pat Conroy, James Rollins and David Baldacci to name just a few), but she is also recognized as one of the leading independent booksellers by NPR, which interviews her twice a year, for her summer and holiday picks. \r

As far as customer service, The Bookmark could not be more welcoming. If they don't have a book, they'll order it; if you only have a description but no title, they'll find it and they make great recommendations based on past reading favorites. 18 months ago we added a baby to our family, and he has attended book readings since he was born. Rona and Buford have always welcomed Jack, even offering to host his next birthday party! And now that Jack is at an age where sitting and listening is not his strong point, Buford installed an outdoor speaker system, with seating! We are truly fortun
